Hunting for pop curators one genre search at a time eats whole evenings, and you still can't tell which playlists are real. Below are 10 pop Spotify playlists that list a way to contact the curator, all through our bot and quality checks. Use it as the starting list for your pop Spotify playlist submission. It isn't a paid way in, though. Curators still decide what gets added.
Updated October 2026. The timing matters. TechCrunch reported on 11 August 2026 that Spotify would start labelling "AI Persona" artist profiles from mid-September, and that "by default, Spotify won't include AI Personas in its editorial or algorithmic recommendations" [1]. As Spotify gets choosier about what it recommends, getting your song in front of real curators and the real listeners who follow them is worth the effort.
We picked these from MusicMinutes' own Playlist Search data on 11 October 2026 [3]. It's a sample, not our top-rated pop playlists: those, with contacts for every one, stay in Playlist Search.
The list: 10 pop Spotify playlists for submission
Follower counts are as of 11 October 2026 and change every day. The list is sorted by followers. Style shows the playlist's top genre tags in our data, written as they're stored.
| # | Playlist | Followers | Style |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Pop gallery | Art Pop | makromusic | 28,346 | art pop, pop, baroque pop |
| 2 | What's Poppin'? | 17,310 | hyperpop, art pop, swedish pop |
| 3 | Pop Hits 2026 | 16,226 | pop, amapiano, alternative pop |
| 4 | Pop indie 2026 | 11,499 | bedroom pop, k-pop, alternative r&b |
| 5 | POP SONGS 2026 🎶🎶 | 8,210 | pop, kuduro, afro house |
| 6 | Floating through Space and Time | 5,712 | dream pop, bedroom pop, alternative pop |
| 7 | Fall in Love ❤️ | 4,180 | surf rock, bedroom pop, folk pop |
| 8 | CRANK IT! | 2,215 | hyperpop, electroclash, art pop |
| 9 | Artist to Watch in 2026 | 1,844 | electro r&b, bedroom pop, indie pop |
| 10 | The Neu Playlist | 1,579 | hyperpop, lo-fi indie, shoegaze |
A few notes before you start pitching. The tags give you a rough idea of the sound, but they're not the whole story, so the odd tag (kuduro, surf rock, amapiano) is a reason to listen first rather than a reason to skip. Some lists lean towards hyperpop and glitchy, experimental pop. Others sit closer to bedroom pop and dream pop. A bright dance pop single won't sit well on a late night bedroom pop list, however good it is.
Don't write off the small ones either. A smaller list that fits your song can do more for a new release than a big one where your track feels out of place.
How we picked these
Every playlist above came out of MusicMinutes Playlist Search on 11 October 2026 [3]. To make the list, a playlist had to pass all of these:
- One of its top two genre tags is pop, dance pop, electropop, indie pop, pop r&b, bedroom pop or hyperpop.
- Passed our quality checks, but isn't one of our very top-rated pop playlists. Those stay in Playlist Search.
- At least 1,000 followers.
- A published way to contact the curator.
- Not on our excluded list (playlists we've marked as botted, payola or removed), and no explicit names.
From what was left, we took out anything that didn't clearly fit pop by its name or tags, such as single artist pages, lists that lean another genre, and any whose name included a curator's own name. Then we picked 10.
Our quality checks run daily on every playlist, using the playlist's follower history, how active it is and how many small artists it features. Botted and payola playlists are hidden automatically, so they never get as far as a list like this.
Every playlist here has a published contact, but that doesn't mean the curator will reply or add your song. Each curator makes their own call.
How to make your pop Spotify playlist submission count
Finding the right playlist is half of it. The pitch is the other half. If you want the full walkthrough, I've written up how to pitch your song to Spotify playlist curators. The short version:
- Listen first. Play the top few tracks and a couple from the middle. If your song would stick out, move on to the next playlist. A wrong fit wastes your pitch and the curator's time.
- Match the sound, not just the word "pop". Hyperpop, bedroom pop and pop r&b fans want quite different things. Pitch the lists where your track would sit naturally next to what's already there.
- Write one personal message. Use the playlist's name, say in a line or two why your song fits it, and include your Spotify track link. Keep it short enough to read on a phone.
- No attachments. Send the Spotify link, not an MP3 or a press kit. Curators add from Spotify, so make that the one click they need.
- Follow up once. If you hear nothing after a week or two, send one polite nudge. If there's still nothing, let it go and pitch your next song later.
- Never pay for a placement. More on that below.
What to avoid
The big one is anyone offering a spot on a playlist in return for money. Spotify's own artist guidance is blunt: it "strictly prohibits using any third party service that promises streams or playlist placement in exchange for money", and any service that "guarantees streams, Spotify followers, or playlist placement in exchange for money" is "not legitimate and should be avoided" [2].
The risk isn't just losing the fee. Spotify lists possible consequences that include "Removal of the song from Spotify playlists" and "Removal of the track from Spotify altogether", and artificial streams "do not earn royalties" [2].
So be wary of a playlist with huge numbers but no sign of real listeners, or a curator who quotes a price before they've heard your song. If the deal is money for a spot, walk away.
Where to find the curator contacts
This post gives you the names. The contacts live in MusicMinutes Playlist Search, which covers around 24,000 bot checked Spotify playlists. You can search by keyword, genre, mood or a similar artist, see each playlist's daily quality score and follower history, and reveal the verified curator contact (an email, an Instagram account or a submission link) when you're ready to pitch. There's no fee per pitch, and you keep the contacts you've revealed even if you cancel. It also includes 3 human checked submissions a month to the MusicMinutes playlists. It's on the paid plans, with Artist from £72 a year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these pop playlists free to submit to?
Each one has a published way to contact the curator, and sending an email or an Instagram message costs nothing. If the contact is a submission link, check its terms before you send. We can't promise any curator will reply or add your track. If someone asks for money in return for a placement, don't pay: Spotify says those services aren't legitimate [2].
Why aren't the curator emails in this article?
We keep contact details out of public posts. You get the playlist names and links here, and the verified contacts for each one are in Playlist Search.
Are these the best pop playlists on Spotify?
No, and that's deliberate. They're a sample that passed our bot and quality checks, not our top-rated list. Playlist Search rates every playlist daily from follower history, activity and how many small artists it features [3], and that's where you'll find the highest-rated pop playlists and their contacts.
Can I pitch hyperpop or bedroom pop to these?
Some of them, yes. Check the Style column: several are tagged hyperpop, and others are tagged bedroom pop or dream pop. Listen to a few tracks to be sure your song fits before you send anything.
How many of these should I pitch?
Only the ones your song genuinely fits. A handful of careful, personal pitches will do more for you than sending the same message to all 10.
