Where can I get feedback on my Instagram and TikTok videos?
Friends are too kind and the algorithm only tells you what already worked. Clarity gives you a specialist, unbiased read on each video before you post. Click to upload, wait about 30 seconds, then get personalised feedback with the exact criteria we check, drawn from patterns common to top-performing musician videos. That is all there is to it.
Full video analysis
Technical checks plus a specialist breakdown of pacing, visuals and engagement signals for every short-form video.
Clear, fixable recommendations
Every analysis comes with concrete tips to fix what is quietly costing you views, before you post rather than after.
Discovery in our network
Free analyses appear in Inspo for other artists to learn from. Score 70+ and we will ask whether we can feature your video on our socials.
Entries to Artist Spotlight
Opt a video in and it goes forward to be featured on our Instagram and TikTok. A qualifying free analysis can be put forward, and paid accounts get 10 priority video entries, which we look at first.
How do I beat the TikTok and Instagram algorithm as a musician?
You stop guessing and start learning what your videos are doing wrong, fast. Here are real worries from artists, and how Clarity helps with each.
“Nobody around me is honest when I ask how to improve my videos.”
Clarity is honest by default. Every video is assessed against masses of data on what works and what does not, and it is not afraid to tell you the truth. You get top-quality feedback in about 30 seconds.
“I am not that confident posting on social media.”
Clarity gives you the feedback to improve a video, then the confidence that comes from knowing it is a strong post before it goes live. That is often what gets you over the fear of posting at all.
“I hate posting and then feeling like I could have done better.”
You can repost, but platforms now penalise near-duplicates and you do not want your main audience seeing two almost identical videos. You also need to capture improvements while everything is still set up, not a week later. Clarity gives you feedback in 30 seconds and tells you what to change straight away.
Can my video get featured on your social media?
Yes. Score 70 or more and we ask, right on the result screen, whether we can feature the video on our Instagram and TikTok, including stories. Opt in and it enters Artist Spotlight. We run paid ads to those channels, so they get real traffic, and we credit you and tag your handle when we post. Nothing goes out without your approval, and approving is an entry rather than a promise. We pick what runs and most entries are not chosen.
Free plan
Your video can still be put forward
A qualifying free analysis can be entered. Free entries are reviewed after the priority queue. See what the free plan gets.
Paid plan
10 Priority Artist Spotlight entries: We share selected videos with a speaking head intro to our audience!
Opted-in videos go to the front of the queue, so they are the ones we look at first when we pick what to feature.
It's so overwhelming to scroll through Instagram and TikTok watching amazing artists posting high quality content.
The algorithm is built to show you what is working best and what you like to see, not what will work for you. Copying other artists directly can send you on a shopping spree of new cameras, editing subscriptions and bad habits, plus the anxiety of never hitting their numbers. I wanted something that gave me honest, unbiased feedback on my own videos instead. It did not exist, so I built Clarity inside MusicMinutes to do exactly that.
