If you're looking for a Kaiber alternative, maybe you've watched credits disappear on AI generations, or found that two videos per batch won't fill a month of posts. Kaiber is an AI creative suite, and its Beat Sync tool is the part made for musicians [1][2].

Every Kaiber price here was checked in October 2026, on its pricing page and help centre [1][5]. Prices change, so check both sites before you pay. Kaiber shows UK visitors its prices in US dollars and charges in dollars, so your bank converts the amount (often with a small fee), and VAT may be added at checkout. And yes, this is our blog, so we've stuck to facts you can check and said where the two aren't directly comparable.

Short version: both batch-make beat-synced videos, but Clips builds up to 30 real-footage drafts per run from your whole song, for £15 a month on yearly Artist Pro.

To be fair to Kaiber, Beat Sync is genuinely close to Clips. Upload clips or images, drop in a track, and it batch-creates beat-synced videos with auto-synced lyrics or text overlays, no prompts needed [2][3][4].

The fair comparison: £15 vs $23

Both sell yearly plans, so we've compared yearly with yearly, by price. Kaiber Creator, its first plan with Beat Sync, is $279 a year ($23 a month), or $29 monthly [1][5]. The nearest MusicMinutes plan is Artist Pro: £180 a year (£180 ÷ 12 = £15 a month), or £20 monthly. Kaiber prices in dollars and we price in pounds, so we haven't guessed an exchange rate.

Kaiber Starter ($96 a year, or $10 monthly) is nearer our Artist plan (£72 a year, or £10 monthly), but Starter has no Beat Sync [1].

Two things aren't like for like:

  • Credits vs counted videos. Kaiber meters by credits: 1,500 a month on Creator, 5,000 on Pro [5]. Each video type has its own credit cost, shown before you generate. It depends on whether Beat Sync cuts your media or generates new media [4]. Editing and exporting are free, and credits roll over [4][5]. Clips counts the videos you keep and download: 100 a month on Artist Pro. So there's no honest videos-per-pound sum, and we haven't invented one.
  • A song section vs the whole song. Kaiber's guide says to upload your sound and trim it to the section you want [2]. Clips analyses and transcribes the whole song once, so one upload covers 3 or 4 moments you'd otherwise set up separately.

Left out on purpose, because Clips doesn't do them:

  • Kaiber Canvas, its AI image and video generation and its premium AI models [1]. Clips never generates footage with AI.
  • Kaiber's Editor timelines [1]. Clips applies looks across a batch instead.
  • Credit packs (300 for $5 up to 20,000 for $250) and the Visionary plan, which is priced by quote [1]. MusicMinutes counts videos instead of credits, and a quoted plan isn't aimed at solo artists.

Kaiber pricing vs MusicMinutes pricing

Kaiber's figures were checked on 11 October 2026 [1].

Plan Price Each month Also included
MusicMinutes Artist £10 a month, or £72 a year (£6 a month) 10 videos, 3 songs 30-draft batches, 1 full-length video, Spotify Canvas, 150 Magic Hooks, playlist tools, 10 Clarity analyses
MusicMinutes Artist Pro £20 a month, or £180 a year (£15 a month) 100 videos, 15 songs Every style and effect, lyrics behind you, 4 full-length videos, 300 Magic Hooks, 20 Clarity analyses
Kaiber Starter $10 a month, or $96 a year ($8 a month) 500 credits No access to Beat Sync, 1 Timeline Edit, 1 Canvas [1]
Kaiber Creator $29 a month, or $279 a year ($23 a month) 1,500 credits Beat Sync, batches of up to 2, unlimited Timeline Edits [1]
Kaiber Pro $99 a month, or $948 a year ($79 a month) 5,000 credits Beat Sync, batches of up to 10 [1]

Kaiber's yearly plans are 20% off [1]; ours are 40% off Artist and 25% off Artist Pro. In Kaiber's favour, its credits don't expire [5], which suits bursty posting, and they also pay for AI generation. If you want beat-synced videos from your own footage, Artist Pro gives you a fixed 100 a month and batches 15 times Creator's (30 against 2). Kaiber also has a 5-day trial for $5 that converts to Creator monthly [1][5].

Why MusicMinutes is better for music videos

Up to 30 drafts per run, not 2

Kaiber's help centre says Creator makes up to 2 videos per batch, and Pro up to 10 (5 by default) [3]. Clips builds up to 30 drafts in one run on both MusicMinutes plans. Keep, shuffle or edit them; only the videos you download count towards your 10 or 100 a month.

Snapped to whole bars, so every video loops

Both tools cut to the beat [2][3]. Clips also snaps your moment to whole bars, so each video starts and ends just before a beat lands and flows straight back into the start. A clean loop is easy to watch twice.

Your whole song, ready for any moment

Upload a song once and the whole track is analysed and transcribed. Want the second verse next week? Pick the new moment in seconds. Kaiber has you trim to a section, and re-syncs if you swap the track [2][4]. Both work; ours saves setting the song up for each part.

Hooks written from what's working right now

The hook is the line on screen in the first second that decides whether someone keeps watching. Kaiber lets you add a custom caption [4]; we didn't find hook writing in its plans.

Magic Hooks writes 30 per run, starting from hooks on real musician videos from the last six months, ranked by real comments and filtered to your song's genre and mood. They can be about your lyrics, your footage or your own idea. We blind-tested six AI models on real songs, with judges from two different AI companies, and kept the one that ranked best.

More looks, and lyrics behind you

In Beat Sync you can rearrange clips, change transitions, adjust cut speed and add text [2]. Artist Pro adds 11 lyric styles, 20 music visualisers, 12 filters, 10 transitions and 12 effects, plus camera motion like zoom pulses, shakes and slow pans, applied across the whole batch, CapCut-style.

Artist Pro can also put your lyrics behind the person in your video, so the words pass behind you. It's a current typography trend that's hard to do in most tools (you'd cut yourself out frame by frame). Clips does the cut-out for you, on up to 30 minutes of footage a month.

Spotify Canvas is built in

Not to be confused with Kaiber's own Canvas, its AI generation workspace [1]. Clips makes 3 to 8 second Spotify Canvas loops from your cover art, with its colours, movement and text such as tour dates. We didn't find this in Kaiber's plans.

Why Clips reminds you instead of posting

We tested direct posting through TikTok's API on our own account, and the account was shadowbanned. That's why the posting calendar reminds you when to post rather than posting for you. The video is ready to save, with a caption and 3 hashtags to copy. And because nothing is connected, you can post to as many accounts as you like.

You get far more than a video editor

Every paid MusicMinutes plan includes:

  • Playlist Search: around 24,000 bot-checked Spotify playlists with verified curator contacts, so you can pitch the right curators yourself and keep the contacts.
  • Submit: 3 submissions a month to the MusicMinutes playlists, each checked by a human.
  • Clarity: honest feedback on a TikTok or Reel with clear fixes in about 30 seconds.
  • Inspo: a feed of real musician videos with their feedback, to learn what actually works.
  • 1-2-1 advice: message Paul, our founder and an independent artist with over 1M Spotify streams, for help with Meta ads, playlist pitching and your release.

We didn't find playlist tools or video feedback in Kaiber's plans [1]. You can see every MusicMinutes limit side by side on our pricing page.

Real footage, so the videos still feel like you

AI generation is a big part of Kaiber, and in Beat Sync, Motion Cut and Scene Cut generate new clips [1][3]. That's a real creative choice. We never generate footage with AI.

A Copenhagen Business School study published in August 2026 found people engaged less with posts labelled as AI-generated or AI-enhanced than with posts made by humans, even when the content was identical. The effect was strongest for emotional content [6]. Songs are about as emotional as content gets. Clips edits your own clips and real stock footage, so what people see is real.

Where Kaiber might suit you

  • You want AI-generated or animated visuals. Kaiber can animate stills or build AI scenes from one image [3].
  • You want one suite for AI art, video generation and editing. Kaiber puts Canvas, its Editor and Beat Sync under one plan [1].
  • You're happy with 2 to 10 videos per batch. Small batches may be all you need.

The verdict: the better Kaiber alternative for real-footage music videos

For a solo artist who wants beat-synced videos from real footage, Artist Pro is £15 a month on the yearly plan for 100 videos. You get batches of up to 30, your whole song to pick from and loops snapped to whole bars. Spotify Canvas, Magic Hooks, playlist tools and video feedback come on top. If AI visuals are the point, pick Kaiber.

If that sounds like your release plan, have a look at Clips on MusicMinutes.
